Photographing the photographer

This is a personal project I am undertaking. In general I have found that most photographers hate having there photo taken myself included in that statement.
I want to show the diversity of people that for them photography means something special. They may be a big time pro photographer or an amateur that loves to take pictures; to me they have the same burning desire to record what they see.

I am looking for photographers in the North West of the UK to start with and then I will expand to cover the country. I also want to hear from visiting photographers to the UK, if we could meet up whilst you are here, that would be great.

You have to do nothing at all except for give me aprox 20 minutes of your time. You will receive a mention on the blog and a copy of the photograph that is used.

The only rule is YOU MUST NOT HAVE A CAMERA OR OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT BLATENTLY IN THE PHOTO. That is I dont want you holding a camera.

The series will be shot on different formats, it could be digital, it could be 35mm film or it could be medium format film.

My goal is to produce a large body of work that may get exhibited in the future

Please get in touch if you can help.

Cheers,

Mart
